Privacy policy

Last updated October 28, 2026

This policy explains what Bounceloop ("we", "us") collects when you use bounceloop.fun (the "service"), why we collect it, who we share it with and what you can do about it. If anything is unclear, write to us at privacy@bounceloop.fun.

1. Information we collect

Account information. Your name, email address and sign-in details: a password (stored only as a secure hash), or your Google account identifier, name and email if you sign in with Google. We also keep whether your email is verified and when you created the account.

Sign-in sessions. When you sign in we record a session with the time, your IP address and your browser type, so we can keep you signed in and spot suspicious activity.

Billing information. Payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We receive the details of your purchase (plan, billing period, amount, currency, status, renewal date and receipt link). We never see or store your full card number.

Usage records. To apply plan limits we record events such as starting an export or an Auto Find search, with a timestamp.

Referral and affiliate data. If you arrive through a referral link we set a cookie and record the click. If you then sign up or buy, we link it to the person who referred you so they can be credited. If you join the affiliate program we also keep your payout method and account details.

Messages. What you send us through the contact form or by email.

Technical data. Standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and error details, kept for security and reliability.

2. What stays on your device

The simulation, Auto Find and video export run in your browser. Files you load, such as audio, images, custom ball images, hit sounds and MIDI, are processed locally and are not uploaded to our servers. The videos you export are created on your device. Presets you save while signed out, and some interface settings, are stored in your browser's local storage.

3. How we use your information

  • To provide the service: sign you in, apply your plan, let you export and keep your account secure.
  • To take payments, issue refunds and send receipts.
  • To send account emails: email verification, password resets and sign-in links, and replies to your messages. We do not send marketing email without your consent.
  • To run the referral and affiliate programs, including paying commission.
  • To prevent abuse, fraud and misuse of plan limits.
  • To understand problems and improve the product.
  • To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performing our contract with you (running your account and plan), our legitimate interests (security, preventing abuse, improving the service), legal obligations (tax and accounting records) and, where asked, your consent.

4. Cookies and local storage

We use a small number of cookies and local storage entries. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

  • Session cookie. Keeps you signed in. Essential.
  • Language and currency (NEXT_LOCALE, NEXT_CURRENCY). Remember your language and currency choice for a year. Essential to the feature you asked for.
  • Referral cookie (bl_ref). Set for 30 days when you arrive through a referral link, so a later sign-up or purchase can be credited.
  • Local storage. Your theme, saved presets and similar preferences stay in your browser.

You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser at any time. Blocking the essential cookies will stop sign-in from working.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run Bounceloop, and only as needed for their work:

  • Hosting and infrastructure (our server provider), which stores the service's data.
  • Payments (Stripe), which processes your payments and subscriptions.
  • Email delivery, which sends account and receipt emails.
  • Google, if you choose to sign in with Google, which tells us your account identifier, name and email.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger or sale of the business (in which case we will tell you).

6. International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where we transfer personal information across borders we rely on the safeguards our providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses, so that it stays protected.

7. How long we keep it

We keep account data while your account exists. Billing records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law require. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and are then deleted. If you ask us to delete your account we remove or anonymise your personal data, except records we are legally required to keep.

8. Security

Passwords are stored as hashes, connections use HTTPS and access to our systems is limited. No online service can be perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us straight away if you suspect your account was accessed by someone else.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or limit some uses, to withdraw consent and to complain to your local data protection authority. To use any of these rights, email privacy@bounceloop.fun from the address on your account. We will reply within 30 days. You can also change your account details and cancel a subscription yourself from your account pages.

10. Children

Bounceloop is not directed at children under 13 (or the higher age required where you live), and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We will post any update here and change the date at the top. If a change is significant we will also tell you by email or in the service.
