Getting started with the studio

The studio opens with a live preview in the middle, controls on the side and a transport bar underneath.

Make a first loop

  1. Pick a mode. The mode list is on the left. Ring Escape is a good first choice.
  2. Start from a preset. Presets set many controls at once. Change one control at a time afterwards so you can see what it does.
  3. Press play. Use the transport bar to play, pause, restart and seek. Change the speed to slow things down while you look closely.
  4. Add sound. Open the sound panel, choose an instrument and draw a few notes in the piano roll.
  5. Export. Open the export dialog, pick a size and length and start the export. You can cancel at any time.
